Introduction

Cristobalite powder is produced from white natural quartz stone through the processing of manual selection, ex-ior water dispose, fine grinding, filtrating, drying and sieving etc. With high purity and white colour which has stable physical and chemical properties and controllable particle size distribution, is widely used as material for epoxy potting compound, epoxy mould compound of electronic and electrical appliance industry.  Application

1, Good optical properties. Cristobalite’s refractive index is1.47, closer to the PE, PP, and the refractive index of some resin. Do not cover the colour of pigment itself after mixing, while filled with other packing can make the color become shallow, distortion.
2, Extinction. Used to reduce the mirror reflection in the high-grade paint film, in order to form the rough surface and extinction.
3, Cristobalite has high scattering, good extinction effect, high whiteness, low density, colour and light lustre . Cristobalite’s structure will help the light reflection, and can replace the glass beads as a reflective paint, as well as enhance the skid resistance, and improve the reflection of the paint. Cristobalite’s whiteness is 92 ~ 95, and it can be used in coating, paint, as well as replace part of titanium dioxide, reduce the cost of the formula, so it’s suitable for automotive primer and all kinds of paint, paint filler.
4, Corrosion resistance, score resistance, scrub resistance, high temperature resistance.
5, Do not contain organic matter pollution, metal content is extremely low, low conductivity. It can enhance the uv resistance of the coating, and has good insulation, so it’s suitable for electronic products’ packaging filling.
